The Azerbaijani delegation, which included the heads of a number of state bodies, visited Kazakhstan. The delegation, which included the Chairman of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ismat Sattarov, held a number of meetings in Astana city from March 31 to April 01.

At a meeting with Minister of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan Mr. Darkhan Kydyrali, the ways of deepening of cooperation in the field of information between two countries and development of the relations between media entities were discussed. During the meeting it was emphasized that in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Information and Social Development of Kazakhstan on 24 August 2022, the two countries will establish bilateral relations in the field of information, protect and promote of national interests in media landscape and increase the experience exchange. Effective steps to strengthen partnership in the field of media and information, ensuring regular contacts among relevant bodies were discussed.

The delegation also met with Chairman of the Information Committee of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Eldos Nashirali and Director of the Central Communications Service under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Asker Umarov. The parties discussed the ways of exchanging information in various fields and expanding cooperation.
