The Audiovisual Council organized next seminar for students of Baku State University

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Media Development Agency and Baku State University (BSU), on October 24, 2024 the Audiovisual Council has organized another seminar for the students of BSU’s Faculty of Journalism. 

Opening the event, Aynur Nasirova, the Head of the Department of International Journalism and Information Policy at Baku State University, noted that the issues of audiovisual media and their regulation are of great interest to students and stressed the importance of continuing such meetings.

Taleh Guliyev, the Head of the Communication Sector at the Audiovisual Council, spoke about new trends in journalism, traditional and new media, and citizen journalism.

Ayhan Sadigly, Chief Consultant of the Department of Law and International Cooperation of the Audiovisual Council, gave a detailed presentation on "Audiovisual media in Azerbaijan and its regulation".

At the end of the seminar, the students' questions were answered.
