The Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting on the implementation of targeted State Programs and issues arising from the Communication Strategy of the Council

On February 21, 2023 a meeting was held in the administrative building of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan on issues assigned to nationwide television broadcasters in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as purposeful state programs, strategies and action plans adopted in areas of significant importance in the life of the society. The meeting was attended by program managers and responsible persons of nationwide terrestrial television broadcasters, representatives of the Council responsible for legal, monitoring and communication areas.

During the meeting, the necessary recommendations were given to broadcasters in accordance with the legislation, purposeful state programs, strategies and action plans. Also the issue of reports submitted by broadcasters to the Council and other issues in this field were discussed.

During the meeting, in accordance with the provisions of the Communication Strategy of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the development of audiovisual media and the fight against the dissemination of information in the audiovisual media, which negatively affects the mental, moral and physical development of children, were discussed.
