Acceptance of documents for the announced competitions for obtaining the license of a nationwide terrestrial radio broadcaster has been completed

On August 23, 2022 the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan has finished the acceptance of the documents for participation in 3 competitions for obtaining a nationwide terrestrial radio broadcaster license, announced from July 13, 2022 guided by Articles 29.1, 50.1.3, 51 and 52 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media":

Applicants who have submitted documents to participate in the 1st competition:

(radio frequencies for broadcasting: Baku TV Tower Complex - 90.7 MHz, RTBS "Ivanovka" in Ismayilli district - 104.5 MHz, RTBS "Lankaran" in Lankaran district - 89.6 MHz, RTBS "Shusha" in Shusha district - 98.0 MHz, RTBS "Danachı" in Zagatala district - 90.9 MHz)

  1. "Baku FM" LLC (name of the radio channel: "Baku Hit FM")
  2. "Retro FM" LLC (name of radio channel: "Baku Retro FM")
  3. "NHR" LLC (name of the radio channel: "Yurd FM")

Applicants who have submitted documents to participate in the 2nd competition:

(radio frequencies for broadcasting: Baku TV Tower Complex - 93.0 MHz, RTBS "Ivanovka" in Ismayilli district - 98.8 MHz, RTBS "Lerik" in Lerik district - 107.5 MHz, RTBS "Shusha" in Shusha district - 96.1 MHz, RTBS "Poylu" in Aghstafa district - 88.4 MHz)

  1. "NHR" LLC (name of the radio channel: "Yurd FM")
  2. "Retro FM" LLC (name of radio channel: "Baku Retro FM")
  3. "Baku FM" LLC (name of the radio channel: "Baku Hit FM")

Applicants who have submitted documents to participate in the 3rd competition:

(radio frequencies for broadcasting: Baku TV Tower Complex - 93.3 MHz, RTBS "Gulustan" in Aghsu district - 102.1 MHz, RTBS "Lerik" in Lerik district - 91.3 MHz, RTBS "Shusha" in Shusha district - 97.1 MHz, RTBS "Daglı" in Guba district - 93.3 MHz)

  1. "Retro FM" LLC (name of radio channel: "Baku Retro FM")
  2. "Beat Media" LLC (name of radio channel: "Radio Baku")
  3. "Baku FM" LLC (name of the radio channel: "Baku Hit FM")
  4. "Balans Studiyası" LLC (name of the radio channel: "Balans Studiyası Radio")
  5. "NHR" LLC (name of the radio channel: "Yurd FM")
  6. "INS CM" LLC (name of the radio channel:  "INC ÇM")
  7. "Isti Press" LLC (name of the radio channel: "Isti Press Radio")

In accordance with Article 52.4 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media", the submitted documents will be reviewed within the next 10 working days. After reviewing the submitted documents, decisions will be made on the admission of applicants to participate in the competition(s) or on the refusal of admission to participate in the competition(s).
