The online meeting of National Television and Radio Council was held.

At the meeting, the results of the monitoring of nationwide radio channels from June 25 to July 9, 2021 were discussed.

The requirements of Article 13.2 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Advertising" were violated by broadcasting of sponsor advertisement for 5 minutes 30 seconds within the period between 13.00 to 14.00 on the air of "Araz" radio channel on June 30, 2021. Guided by the Article 23.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Television and Radio Broadcasting”, the Council has adopted a decision to suspend the broadcasting of "Araz" radio channel on July 18, 2021 for a period of 3 hours (from 21:00 to 24:00).

Also, the requirements of Article 13.2 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Advertising" were violated by broadcasting of sponsor advertisement for 5 minutes within the period between 08.00 to 09.00 on the air of "Space" radio channel on July 01, 2021. Guided by the Article 23.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Television and Radio Broadcasting”, the Council has adopted a decision to suspend the broadcasting of "Space" radio channel on July 17, 2021 for a period of 3 hours (from 21:00 to 24:00).
