Azerbaijani delegation attended the presentation ceremony of "www.dhapress.com" news portal in Istanbul

The presentation of "www.dhapress.com" news portal within the framework of the joint project of "Trend" Azerbaijan International News Agency and "Demiroren" Turkish News Agency (DHA) was held in Istanbul.

The event was attended by Ahmed Ismayilov, the executive director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ismat Sattarov, chairman of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rashad Majid, chairman of the Press Council of Azerbaijan, Ilgar Huseynov, Director General of "Trend" International News Agency, the MP Sevil Mikayilova, Rufiz Hafizoglu, Deputy Director General of "Trend" INA and the head of "Türk Dünyası" (Turkic.World) media platform, Emin Aliyev, editor-in-chief of "Trend" INA, Sanan Huseynov, commercial director of "Trend" INA and others. Narmina Mustafayeva, Azerbaijan's Consul General in Istanbul and staff of our Consulate, as well as Alexandru Gibu, Secretary General of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) also took part in the presentation ceremony organized by the Director General of DHA Jalal Korkut.

Speakers at the event Narmina Mustafayeva, Jalal Korkut, Ahmed Ismayilov, Ismat Sattarov, Rashad Majid, Alexandru Gibu, and Sevil Mikayilova noted the rapid development of Azerbaijani media in recent years, the importance of both the joint fight against fake news and the creation of such a platform between the two brotherly countries. They emphasized the Turkish media's constant support for Azerbaijan during the 44-day Patriotic War, the importance of joint action in the fight against disinformation and the importance of bringing the right voice of our country to the world.

It was noted that this cooperation has been raised to the highest level through the Shusha Declaration signed by the leaders of our countries. Confidence was expressed that creation of a joint media platform will play an important role in bringing the voices not only of Turkiye and Azerbaijan, but also of the entire Turkic world to the international level.

Then the Azerbaijani delegation got acquainted with the DHA professional school and television studios of "Demiroren" Media Holding.
