The Audiovisual Council has released the genre distribution of programs of nationwide terrestrial television channels for 2025
Department of monitoring and analysis of audiovisual programs of the office of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan has compiled the genre statistics of programs of nationwide terrestrial television channels in 2025. According to the latest statistics, the genre distribution of free-to-air nationwide terrestrial television programs last year was as follows:
- 23,47 % – Information & analytical programs
- 16,33 % – Music & entertainment programs
- 15,90 % – Sport programs
- 13,45 % – Feature films & series
- 10,90 % – Advertising (commercial communications)
- 8,04 % – Cultural & educational programs
- 3,82 % – Announcements
- 2,93 % – Social programs
- 2,89 % – Documentaries
- 1,17 % – Social spots
- 1,10 % – Children’s programs & animated films
