A meeting of the Audiovisual Council was held
During the meeting, the Audiovisual Council reviewed the applications submitted for the issuance of the relevant licenses.
Following the renaming of "Ultel" LLC, a universal platform operator licensed by the Audiovisual Council, the relevant license was reissued under the new name of "Ultranet Telco Services" LLC (service name of operator "UltraNet Telco Services").
The Audiovisual Council then reviewed the applications of "Uninet" LLC, which operates as a universal platform operator under the service name "CityNet" for the issuance of licenses of platform broadcaster not performing satellite transmission and on-demand media service provider. Based on the review of the submitted documents and economic justification, as well as the results of the on-site inspection, the Audiovisual Council has decided to grant "Uninet" LLC two licenses as a platform broadcaster not performing satellite transmission for the television channels "CityNet Hits" and "CityNet Premier", as well as an on-demand media service provider's license under the service name "CityNetTV".
After the end of the meeting, a joint meeting of the members of the Audiovisual Council and heads of departments and divisions of the Office was held. Ismat Sattarov, the Chairperson of the Audiovisual Council presented medals to persons awarded with the Jubilee Medal "The 150th Anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Press (1875-2025)" established by the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and wished them further success. The Members of the Audiovisual Council, heads of departments and divisions thanked the Head of State, as well as the heads of the Media Development Agency and the Audiovisual Council, for their attention and support.
