A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Media Development Agency, the Audiovisual Council and BSU.

On October 19, 2022 the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Media Development Agency, the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Baku State University.

The purpose of signing the memorandum is to strengthen and develop cooperation in areas of mutual activity, to organize practical and theoretical trainings for university students, and to provide support for the training of personnel who meet modern challenges in the field of media.

The Memorandum was signed by the Executive Director of the Media Development Agency Ahmad Ismayilov, the Chair of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ismat Sattarov, and the Rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev.

According to the memorandum, cooperation in the field of development of scientific and practical knowledge and skills for the academic staff and students of the University, the organization of joint projects in the fields of media functions and modern development trends, the training of highly qualified journalist personnel were agreed.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the Media Development Agency and the Audiovisual Council provide support to the students of Journalism faculty of Baku State University to determine graduation work and dissertation topics in accordance with the practical requirements, assistance in involving university graduates and talented students to work in various media entities, mutual coordination in the use of modern technologies and scientific development in the field of media.
