MUBARIZ ASGEROV
Mubariz Asgarov was born on January 20, 1962 in Ujar city.
After completing his secondary education and military service, he entered the Journalism faculty of Baku State University in 1986. Then he was sent to continue his education to the Journalism faculty of Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov. In 1992 he graduated from the University with honors.
He started his career on Azerbaijan state television in 1992. He worked as a senior editor and head of the artistic-experimental group. In those years he became author and presenter of the "Və.." and "Qulp" programs.
Since 1998 he worked as a leading editor, head of Author Programs Bureau and Chief Producer for "ANS" Independent Television Company. He was the author and presenter of the programs "Qulp", "Mübarizə" at "ANS" channel.
Since 2013 he is the founder and director of "Qulp studio" LLC. He is the author of the "Resonance" program produced by "Qulp studio"`.
During his activity in the studio he took part in the production of documentary films "Khojaly lesson", "History of one press conference", "Smouldering сross", "Black misty Shusha Mountains", "The death penalty - life imprisonment".
According to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 29 April 2021 Mubariz Agali Asgarov was appointed the Member of National Television and Radio Council for the term of 6 years.
By the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media" dated December 30, 2021 the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was defined as the body regulating the sphere of audiovisual media. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 08, 2022, the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan is the legal successor of National Television and Radio Council, established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 05, 2002. In accordance with paragraph 4.2 of this Decree, the members of National Television and Radio Council, whose term of office has not expired, continue their activities in the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan until the end of the period.
In 2015, Mubariz Asgarov was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Journalist" by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
He is married, has three children.
