The Chair of the Audiovisual Council Ismat Sattarov participated in the event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of RTÜK

 

On April 29, 2024 Ismat Sattarov, the Chair of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Fazil Novruzov, the Head of the Office of the Audiovisual Council, participated in a commemorative event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), the media regulatory authority of the Republic of Turkiye.

Along with members and staff of RTÜK, official representatives of the regulatory authorities of Azerbaijan, Albania and Northern Cyprus attended the anniversary event, which was held at RTÜK's administrative building.

Ismat Sattarov, the Chair of the Audiovisual Council, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the executives and staff of RTÜK on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the regulatory authority of the fraternal country and noted that RTÜK, which has extensive experience in regulating of the rapidly developing, technologically and content-enriched media sphere by new methods and techniques, is a sample not only for the neighboring countries, but also for many countries of the world, as well as for the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which endeavors to leverage this valuable experience. Ismat Sattarov underlined the significance of fraternal and friendly relations between the two countries, emphasizing that these relations provide a further impetus for cooperation and mutually beneficial ties between the two regulatory bodies.

Following the official speeches, RTÜK Chairman Ebubekr Shahin expressed his gratitude to the representatives of fraternal countries, including the officials of the Audiovisual Council, for their attendance at the anniversary ceremony.

During the event, the executives of RTÜK as well as the invited heads of regulatory authorities presented commemorative gifts to the veteran employees who have been working for RTÜK since its establishment. Memorial photos were taken.
