The next seminar was organized for the students of the faculty of Journalism of BSU

The Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized a seminar for the students of the Faculty of Journalism of Baku State University (BSU).

Aynur Nasirova, head of the Department of International Journalism and Information Policy of BSU noted that such training seminars are important in terms of developing students' practical knowledge.

Then, Taleh Guliyev, head of the Communication Division the Audiovisual Council, gave detailed information about the activities of the Council, spoke about innovations in the field of media, traditional and new media, citizen journalism.

Aykhan Sadigly, chief adviser of the Department of the Law and International Cooperation of the Audiovisual Council, made a comprehensive presentation on "Audiovisual media and its regulation in Azerbaijan", and gave information about the audiovisual media entities and their activities, as well as the requirements for information disseminated in media and so on.

At the end, the students’ questions were answered. The seminar was organized in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Audiovisual Council, Media Development Agency and BSU.
