A meeting with platform broadcasters has been held at the Audiovisual Council

On April 25, 2024 a meeting regarding the regulation of the activities of platform broadcasters has been held at the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Opening the meeting, Fazil Novruzov, the Head of the Office, informed the platform broadcasters about the purpose of the meeting, spoke about the activities, rights and duties of platform broadcasters, as well as about the current state of monitoring and supervisory activities being carried out by the Audiovisual Council in this direction.

Then, Aykhan Sadigly, a representative of the legal service of the Audiovisual Council, made a presentation on the provisions of the Laws "On Media" and "On Advertising", which are applicable to the activities of platform broadcasters, and on "The time of the most active watching and listening to audiovisual programs (prime time)".

At the meeting, representatives of some broadcasters outlined the challenges they faced during their activity. Then the meeting proceeded to a discussion of issues and topics of interest to the platform broadcasters.
