The next seminar was organized by the Audiovisual Council for the students of the Faculty of Journalism of BSU

On February 29, 2024, a meeting of the specialists of the Audiovisual Council with the students of the Faculty of Journalism of BSU was held in accordance with the cooperation between the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Baku State University

The dean of the Faculty of Journalism, Vugar Zifaroglu, who opened the meeting with an introduction, emphasized the importance of this meeting, the importance of issues of audiovisual media and its regulation for students, and the need to get more information in this field. Fazil Novruzov, the Head of Office of the Audiovisual Council, noted the importance of such meetings in increasing awareness among future media representatives on the issue of the regulation of audiovisual media. He said that seminars will continue this year as it was last year, and at each meeting our specialists will give a broad presentation on important topics that interest them.

Then Aykhan Sadigly and Kamran Aliyev, specialist of the legal service of the Audiovisual Council, made a presentation on "Regulation of audiovisual media in Azerbaijan". After the presentation, the students' questions on the topic and the media field, in general, were answered.
