The Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting with the heads of social television projects

On August 17, 2022 the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting with the heads of social television projects.           

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Council, Ismat Sattarov, spoke about the current situation in the field of regulation of audiovisual media and compliance with existing regulations, and noted the importance of cooperation between law enforcement authorities, including prosecution authorities, and social television projects.

Then, the invited guest - Kenan Zeynalov, the Senior Prosecutor of the Press Service of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan spoke about the current problems and prospects of close cooperation.            

The participants of the meeting discussed existing problems concerning the rules of professional behavior of journalists, exchanged useful ideas and put forward a number of proposals. It was also noted that such events would lead to significant progress in strengthening existing communication
