The Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting with the heads of nationwıde television channels.

On July 18, 2022 in the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting with the heads of nationwide television channels.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Council Ismat Sattarov discussed the activities of the Council during the year, the current situation in the field of audiovisual media after the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media", the results of monitoring conducted on television channels during the completed television season, existing shortcomings, positive development dynamics, expected innovations in the field of audiovisual media in the new season.

Then the heads of nationwide television broadcasters explained the expectations and prospects regarding the situation in audiovisual media that has developed since the adoption of the law "On Media", as well as in result of the activities of the Council. During the meeting the problems existing in this area were discussed between the heads of broadcasters and the Chairman of the Council.
