Chair of the Council has met Ghislain Vidal-Giraud, Audiovisual Cooperation Attaché of the French Consulate in Istanbul.

On June 22, 2022 the meeting with Ghislain Vidal-Giraud, Audiovisual Cooperation Attaché of the French Consulate in Istanbul, paying a working visit to our country was held in the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Chair of the Council, Ismat Sattarov, welcomed the guest and informed him about the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, its tasks and reforms have been implemented in the field of media in our country in recent years.

Attaché Ghislain Vidal-Giraud thanked for the warm welcome, expressed satisfaction with the information provided by Chair of the Council, and also spoke about the perspectives for cooperation between the audiovisual media regulatory authorities of Azerbaijan and France. Then, Chair of the Council answered the guest's questions about the copyright protection during audiovisual broadcasting and the current situation with new audiovisual media services in Azerbaijan.

The sides agreed on further communication in order to expand cooperation between the relevant regulatory authorities of Azerbaijan and France.
