A meeting of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.

The meeting of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held on April 27, 2022. At the meeting, the results of monitoring of the programs of nationwide terrestrial television broadcasters in the period from April 15, 2022 to April 25, 2022 were discussed.

On April 23, 2022 the requirements of the Article 12.1.8 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Advertising" was violated by broadcasting advertising of energy drink in the ads spot during the program for children "Little gourmets" of the "Space" television broadcaster transmitted between 17.47 – 18.23. Therefore, guided by the article 41.1.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media", the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan has adopted a decision to suspend the broadcasting of programs of "Space" television broadcaster on May 05, 2022 from 08.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. for a period of 3 (three) hours.
