A meeting of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.

The meeting of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held on April 25, 2022. At the meeting, the results of monitoring of the programs of nationwide terrestrial radio broadcasters between April 15, 2022 and April 22, 2022 were discussed.

On April 20, 2022 the requirement of the Article 20.7 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Advertising" was violated by broadcasting 13 minutes 55 seconds of advertisement on the "Azad Azerbaijan" radio within the period from 19.00 to 20.00. Therefore, guided by the article 41.1.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media", the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan has adopted a decision to suspend the broadcasting of programs of "Azad Azerbaijan" radio on April 28, 2022  from 21.00  to 24.00 for a period of 3 (three) hours.
