Warning to television broadcasters from the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan

During the monitoring of television programs carried out by the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, physical clashes and fights between guests, participants and experts, as well as mutual insults have been recorded in some live broadcasts since the beginning of April. Such situations in those programs had rarely happened before, and as a result of the Council's warnings to broadcasters, these situations were not systematic.

However, in recent days, programs broadcasting live on nationwide television channels show that such violations have intensified and become systematic. The Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan informs the broadcasters that in case of repeated physical clashes and fights between persons, as well as mutual insults during programs, administrative sanctions will be imposed without warning.
