The Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan held a meeting with the heads of a number of broadcasting operators.

On April 13, 2022 a meeting was held in the administrative building of the Audiovisual Council with the heads and officials of some broadcasting operators (cable and IPTV) of Azerbaijan.

The meeting focused on such issues as the application of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media" and the issues arising from it, the features of the activities of broadcasting operators in the new legal regime, the replacement of existing licenses with new ones, copyright protection during the retransmission of foreign channels and the fight against pirated content, in general, innovations in audiovisual media, the use of regulatory methods, self-regulation and co-regulation in the regulation of audiovisual broadcasting.

In connection with the mentioned innovations, it is planned to maintain constant communication with operators, hold regular meetings live or online.
