National Television and Radio Council and "El TV" regional television channel held a roundtable.

In accordance with the "State program on combating illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors for 2019-2024", representatives of National Television and Radio Council visited "El TV", which is a regional television channel, operating in Yevlakh city and broadcasting in the territory of central region. On December 18, 2021 within the framework of the meetings, a roundtable was organized with the representatives of the program and news departments of the channel.

The issues of explaining to the public the provisions and requirements of the legislation on combating illegal circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors in accordance with the state program and the role of regional media, including television channels in organizing of propaganda work among citizens for public education, as well as financial and technical problems in this area were discussed.

During the discussions, the representatives of the Council answered the questions of the channel’s staff about the organization of broadcasting and the requirements for the program.
