National Television and Radio Council revoked the licenses of 4 television broadcasters.

On May 24, 2021, a meeting of National Television and Radio Council has been held. The current situation in the field of television and radio broadcasting has been discussed at the meeting.

Taking into account that the bankruptcy of "Lider TV və Radio-Azerbaijan" LLC was confirmed by a court decision that entered into legal force, National Television and Radio Council took a decision to revoke the license No. 169 of January 19, 2018, issued "Lider TV və Radio-Azerbaijan"  LLC for nationwide television and radio broadcasting, and suspend "Lider TV" and "Lider FM" broadcasting from 00:00 on June 01, 2021.

Considering that the satellite broadcasting of "Kaspi Global" LLC (Dalga TV) has not been carried out for more than 30 days in a row, and the regional television broadcasting of the "Mingachevir" Television and Radio Company (Mingachevir TV) and "Alternativ Tele-Radio" LLC (ARB Ulduz TV) has not been carried out within 60 days during the year without any reason, it was also decided to revoke the licenses of these television broadcasters.
