On 7 December 2015 the Meeting with representatives of broadcasters was held in NTRC.

6 December 2015 was declared the Mourning Day following to the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan from 6 December 2015 "On declaring mourning in the Republic of Azerbaijan for those who died in the accident on the platform No.10 in Gunashli oil field of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

On Mourning day "Space TV", "Khazar TV", as well as radio stations "ANS CM", "Jazz FM", "Antenn FM", "Araz FM" broadcasted advertising blocks, thus breached the requirements of Article 20.8 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Advertising".

On 7 December 2015 responsible persons for programming in "Space TV", "Khazar TV", "ANS CM", "Jazz FM", "Antenn FM", "Araz FM" were invited to the NTRC and they were made remarks and recommendations on the issue.
