The acceptance of documents of candidates for election on the post of the CEO of "Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company" has ended.
Due to the abdication of the CEO of "Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company" National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan had announced a competition and yesterday the acceptance of documents of candidates for election on this post has ended. Seven persons have applied for this position:
- Rauf Muzaffar Abbasov;
- Sabuhi Mubariz Abbasov;
- Shafaq Akif Mehraliyeva;
- Rahile Ibrahim Mehtiyeva;
- Garanfil Ali Khalilova;
- Sadiq Gurban Garayev;
- Balakishi Alekper Gasumov.
In accordance with the requirements of Articles 20.1.3 and 21.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Public Television and Radio Broadcasting" the documents of the candidates to the position of the CEO of the "Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company" have already submitted to the Broadcasting Board of the "Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company" for conducting elections.
The Broadcasting Board of "Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company" will conduct elections to the position of the CEO of the "Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company" in Meeting Hall of NTRC at 12.00am on 1 June 2018.
