The Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued a warning to "Space TV" television channel.

On October 09, 2023 the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan held online meeting. The fact of violation of the Law on "Space TV", which has been revealed as a result of regular monitoring conducted by the Department of monitoring and analysis of audiovisual programs of the Audiovisual Council was discussed in the meeting.

Thus, on October 04, 2023 during the broadcasting of "Yaxşıya doğru" program on "Space TV" channel of LLC "Space Independent TV and Radio Company" TV presenter used the phrase (at 12.19 p.m.) about a person, involved by law enforcement bodies in the investigation "...he is a criminal..." thereby violating the requirement of Article 14.1.14 (information about the guilt of a person without an effective court decision shall not be disseminated) of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media".

After the discussions, the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued a warning to the LLC "Space Independent TV and Radio Company" that in the case of repetition of such a case administrative sanctions will be applied.
