On 18-20 September the 10th Annual Meeting of the Black Sea Broadcasting Regulatory Authorities Forum (BRAF) and the Workshop on "Disinformation and Digital Media Literacy" were held

On September 18-20 2023, the Chair of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ismat Sattarov and the Assistant to the Chair Hashim Alimammadzade participated in the 10^th Annual Meeting of the Black Sea Broadcasting Regulatory Authorities Forum (BRAF) and in the workshop on "Disinformation and Digital Media Literacy" organized by the Radio and Television Supreme Council of Turkiye (RTÜK) in Antalya, Turkiye.

The Meeting, the main topic of which was "Licensing in Digital Age and challenges", was attended, in addition to Azerbaijan and Turkiye, by officials from regulatory authorities of Albania, Georgia, Moldova, Serbia and Greece, as well as representatives of the observer authorities. The delegation of the Audiovisual Council made a detailed presentation on licensing in the field of audiovisual media in Azerbaijan.

The workshop on "Disinformation and Digital Media Literacy", held to address the pressing issues surrounding the proliferation of disinformation in today's digital age, featured media experts who shared their experiences and innovative strategies to tackle this growing problem.

At the end of the Meeting, the issue of the upcoming BRAF presidency in 2023-2024 was discussed and a common agreement was reached on the presidency of Azerbaijan. Thus, the BRAF 11^th Meeting in 2024 will be hosted by the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
