A meeting of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held

On August 15, 2023 the meeting of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held. The meeting considered the final conclusion of the Competition Commission, which had examined the documents and proposals of the applicants submitted to the competition for the use by multiplex operators of the 33^rd and 36^th transmission channels from the Baku TV Tower Complex.

Having examined the documents and proposals of the applicants, taking into account the current activities and specificities of their services, the members of the Council found the proposal of "ATV Plus" LLC to be more acceptable.

By the relevant decision of the Council, "ATV Plus" LLC (operator's service name: "ATV Plus") was declared the winner of the competition and the 33^rd and 36^th transmission channels of the Baku TV Tower Complex were allocated for its use.

With allocated TV transmission channels, "ATV Plus" will be able to provide subscribers with higher quality (HD format) and more foreign television channels retransmission services.
