The Alley of Honor was visited on the occasion of National Press Day, July 22.

Representatives of the Media Development Agency, the Audiovisual Council, and the Press Council visited the Alley of Honor on July 22 - National Press Day - to pay deep tribute to the cherished memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. A wreath and bouquets of flowers were laid at the monument to the Great Leader. The memory of the prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva was also honored, and fresh flowers were placed on her grave.

Then a visit was paid to the grave of Hasan Bey Zardabi - the founder of the Azerbaijani national press, publisher and editor-in-chief of the “Akinchi” newspaper, a prominent public figure and enlightened intellectual. A wreath and fresh flowers were laid at his grave as a mark of respect, and the cherished memory of this great thinker was honored.
