On January 12, 2022 the meeting of National Television and Radio Council was held in online format. At the meeting, it was decided to announce a competition from January 17, 2022 to February 17, 2022 for the opening of a nationwide radio channel (107.0 MHz frequency in Baku city and Absheron peninsula).
