The event dedicated to the National Press and Journalism Day, organized by the Media Development Agency, was held in the Seaside National Park

The event dedicated to the National Press and Journalism Day was organized by the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 22, 2021 in the Seaside National Park. At the beginning of the event, the memory of the martyrs of the Patriotic War was commemorated with a minute of silence. Then, a video entitled "National Press Day - 146 years" reflecting the media of the winning country was shown to the participants of the event.

Speaking at the event, Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, said that the 146-year-old Azerbaijani press has undergone a great and glorious path of development and has always been a herald of advanced public ideas. Then the chairman of the Press Council Aflatun Amashov, the chief of staff of National Television and Radio Council Fazil Novruzov spoke.

After the speeches, the trailer of the documentary "The Farmer's True Word" prepared by the Media Development Agency and the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company was shown. The event also featured a video dedicated to the "Pearls of the Press" magazine and an exhibition of materials to be published in the magazine.
