Statement of National Television and Radio Council

Today, the 4^th of June 2021, the cameraman of the "AZTV" channel Siraj Abyshov and the correspondent of the "AZERTAC" news agency Maharram Ibragimov died in the line of duty and four others were injured in a mine blast in Kalbajar district liberated from the occupation. National Television and Radio Council expresses its deep condolences to the families of the victims, and asks Allah for the healing of the wounded.

Huge number of mines were planted in the liberated territories during the occupation by Armenia. So far, dozens of civilians have been killed or injured as a result of being hit by mines. Armenia does not implement the process of presenting maps of mined territories in order to prevent further losses. We invite the world community and international organizations to call on Armenia to present maps of the mined territories of Azerbaijan.
