The 3rd Meeting of the ministers and high-level officials of the Turkic Council, responsible for information and media was held
On April 10, 2021, the 3rd Meeting of the ministers and high-level officials of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council), responsible for information and media was held in Baku.
Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, Chairman of Communication Department of Presidential Administration of the Republic of Turkey Fahrettin Altun, Minister of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of Republic of Kyrgyzstan Kairat Imanaliyev, Director of the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Asadjon Khodjaev, Vice-minister of information and social development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Oralov, Hungary’s State Secretary for Foreign Relations and Security Policy of the Trade Ministry Peter Sztaray, Secretary-General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev attended the meeting.
The meeting was also attended by the heads of the National Television and Radio Council, the Media Development Agency, the state news agency "Azertac", "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Programs" CJSC.
The strengthening of joint activities aimed at raising awareness of events in Turkic-Speaking countries at the local and international levels, Plan of Action for 2021-2022 in the field of information and media, shooting feature and documentary films on the history and culture of Turkic-Speaking countries, implementation of training courses and exchange programs for media experts and other issues were discussed within the framework of the meeting.
On April 11, 2021 delegations will visit the liberated Aghdam city of Azerbaijan, as well as the city of Ganja.
