The Audiovisual Council held a meeting during which the decisions were adopted to issue 2 new licenses

On February 11, 2026 a meeting of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held. During the meeting, applications for licenses were considered.

Based on the review of the submitted documents and economic justification, as well as the results of the on-site inspection, the Audiovisual Council has decided to issue "Kinobox" LLC an on-demand media service provider’s license (service name: "Kinobox").

At the meeting, the application of "Mahnı" LLC was also discussed. Based on the review of the applicant’s documentation, economic justification, as well as the results of the assessment of its technical and programming resources, a decision was adopted to issue the company a license of a platform broadcaster not performing satellite transmission (channel’s name: "Mahnı TV").

The meeting concluded with the consideration of an application submitted by "Aznet Technologies" CJSC concerning a change in its legal status. The Council adopted decisions to re-issue the licenses that had previously been issued for the "AZnet" and "ARAZnet" services in the name of "Aznet Technologies" LLC.
