The 8th Meeting of the Working Group on Media and Information of the Cooperation Council of Turkic speaking States (Turkic Council) was held.
Today Baku has hosted the 8th Meeting of the Working Group within the framework of the 3rd Meeting of the ministers and high officials in charge of Media and Information of the Cooperation Council of Turkic speaking States (Turkic Council).
The event was attended by officials of the Secretariat of the Turkish Council, officials responsible for information and media of the member states - Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as the observers from Hungary and media regulatory authorities, national TV channels, state information agencies.
Development of cooperation in the sphere of media and information among the Member States of the Turkic Council, production of video films and cartoons on the history and culture of Turkic speaking countries, establishment of the coordinating group consisting of representatives of national TV channels, strengthening of the "FTP pool" created for the purpose of rapid exchange of TV programs and films, participation of the Turkish Council in media forums, realization of the training courses and exchange programs for media experts, the draft agenda of the ministerial meeting, preparation of the Action Plan for 2021-2022 were discussed within the framework of the meeting.
