ISMAT SATTAROV

Ismat Rajab oglu Sattarov was born in Baku in 1983. He received a bachelor's degree in "Economic Cybernetics and Applied Mathematics" in 2002, a master's degree in "Economic Cybernetics" in 2004 in Baku State University, and obtained PhD in technical sciences in 2008.

He worked in the banking sector in 2000-2004, and from 2004 to 2010 he worked in the Analytical and Information Department of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Since 2011, he has been the director of the "Region TV" production group, and since 2014, he has been the director of the "Region TV" television channel established on the basis of that production group. Since 2016, he has been the head of "ARB Media Group" and the director of "ARB 24" LLC.

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 04, 2020, Ismat Sattarov was appointed a member of the National Television and Radio Council for a period of 6 years. In accordance with subparagraph 4.2 of the Decree No.1589 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 08, 2022, he continues his activities in the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan as an unexpired member of the National Television and Radio Council until the end of his term. He was elected Chairman of the Council at the meeting of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 09, 2022.

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 21, 2025 he was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for his contribution to the development of the national media.
