Uzbekistan delegation visiting Azerbaijan paid tribute at the Victory Monument
On September 29, the Uzbek delegation, which was visiting Azerbaijan within the 2nd Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum, visited the Victory Park together with the Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency and Ismat Sattarov, the Chairman of the Audiovisual Council, and paid tribute at the Victory Monument erected in memory of the martyrs of the Patriotic War.
The delegation laid flowers in front of the monument and paid tribute to the dear memory of the heroic sons of the Motherland who gave their lives for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan. The guests were given detailed information about Victory Park, which was created to keep alive the magnificent historical Victory won by the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War and to perpetuate the dear memory of our martyrs.
It was noted that, according to the project, continued under the Order signed by President Ilham Aliyev on December 3, 2020 a Victory Museum is also being established within the complex in order to preserve the path to the historic Victory for the liberation of our lands, the memory of our soldiers and officers who fought heroically in the Patriotic War, and all our martyrs.
