The Chair of the Audiovisual Council Ismat Sattarov met with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan

On July 10, 2025 the Chair of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ismat Sattarov met with Alim Bayel, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan.

Ismat Sattarov provided the guest with detailed information about the activities of the Council, the regulation of the audiovisual media, the reforms implemented in this direction in the country and future plans. The Chair of the Council noted that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan share a common ethnic roots, language, history, culture and traditions. Relations between the two countries are at a high level. He noted that currently, there is a significant potential for cooperation between media entities, television and radio channels of the two countries. Ismat Sattarov emphasized the importance of implementing joint projects in the field of audiovisual media, exchanging experiences as well as establishing mutually beneficial cooperative relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Alim Bayel stressed satisfaction with the high level of the relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in all directions. The Ambassador highlighted that his country is interested in strengthening cooperation between broadcasters. He emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between television channels, ensuring mutual broadcasting of television channels of both countries, as well as cooperation for resolving technical and legal issues in this direction. He expressed his great satisfaction at being in Azerbaijan and noted that he would spare no effort to further develop existing relations.​

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
