The Azerbaijani delegation attended the Opening Ceremony of the 30th Shanghai Television Festival

 

On 23 June, the Azerbaijani delegation attended the Opening Ceremony of the 30th Shanghai Television Festival held in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. This event holds international significance in the field of television. The Shanghai Television Festival is an important event in television and media, serves as a significant platform for discussions on creative ideas, international cooperation, and innovative trends. Established in 1986 and celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the Shanghai Television Festival is not only the first of its kind in East Asia but also one of the continent’s most prestigious media events. The main objective of the festival is to promote high-quality television content and to address major topics shaping the global media agenda.

As part of the event, the delegation led by Mr. Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held a meeting with Mr. Fan Shijun, Director-General and Editor-in-Chief of the Shanghai Media Group. Later, the guests were introduced to the broadcast and editing rooms, technological infrastructure, and digital transmission systems of the Shanghai Media Group.

The Azerbaijani delegation includes Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ismat Sattarov, Chair of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Hasanov, Head of the Media Sector of the Department for Work with Non-Governmental Organizations and Communication of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vugar Aliyev, Chair of the Board of the Azerbaijan State News Agency and Rufat Hamzayev, Executive Director of "AnewZ" TV channel.
