A next seminar was held for the students of the Faculty of Journalism of BSU

On April 18, 2024 a next meeting of the representatives of the Audiovisual Council with the students of the Journalism Faculty of Baku State University (BSU) was held in line with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Media Development Agency and the Baku State University.

Vugar Zifaroglu, Dean of the Faculty of Journalism noted that the previous meetings had generated a great interest among the students and emphasized the need to get more information about the media sphere. He also mentioned that topics such as audiovisual media, media entities and requirements for media entities are very relevant to students. Fazil Novruzov, Head of the Office of the Audiovisual Council, stressed the significance of such meetings with future media representatives, noted the need for unity of theoretical knowledge and practice in media education, as well as the value of such seminars in this direction.

Taking into account the issues raised at the last meeting, representatives of the Audiovisual Council made a presentation on the topic "Media entities in Azerbaijan". During the presentation, the questions of the students were answered and in conclusion, various issues related to the media sphere were discussed on the basis of the questions.
