The representatives of the Audiovisual Council held a seminar for the students of the Journalism Faculty of BSU

On December 19, 2023 the representatives of the Audiovisual Council held seminar for the students of the Journalism Faculty of BSU in line with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Media Development Agency and Baku State University.

The dean of the Faculty, Vugar Zifaroglu, opened the seminar with an introductory speech, emphasising that the previous two meetings had been attended by 3^rd year students with interest. Today's meeting has been attended by 2^nd year students.

Fazil Novruzov, the Head of the Office of the Audiovisual Council, stressed the importance of such meetings with Journalism Faculty students and noted the special significance of the them in raising the awareness of future media representatives on issues of audiovisual media regulation. He mentioned that at each meeting, the representatives of the Council make detailed presentations on important topics of interest to the audience of young people who will work in the media in the future. Then, Aykhan Sadigly and Kamran Aliyev, representatives of the Legal service of the Audiovisual Council, made a detailed presentation on "Audiovisual Media Regulation in Azerbaijan".

The presentation was followed by a discussion on the topic of audiovisual media regulation and answers to the students' questions.
