Representatives of the Audiovisual Council held the next meeting with students of the Journalism Faculty of BSU

On November 23, 2023 the representatives of the Audiovisual Council held a meeting with students of the Journalism Faculty of BSU, in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Media Development Agency and Baku State University (BSU).

Vugar Zifaroglu, the dean of the Faculty, opened the meeting with an introductory speech, pointed out the importance of the meeting and the fact that audiovisual media and its regulation are a subject of great interest to students and that there is a need for more information in this field.

Further, Fazil Novruzov, the head of the Council's Office noted that the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan pays great attention to close communications with students of the BSU and efforts to raise awareness among students in journalism about the audiovisual media regulation. Then, Aykhan Sadigly and Kamran Aliyev, members of the legal service of the Audiovisual Council, made a detailed presentation on "Audiovisual Media Regulation in Azerbaijan".

The presentation was followed by answers to questions on the topic and other issues of interest to students on audiovisual media regulation.
