On the occasion of National Press Day, the memories of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and founder of the Azerbaijani press Hasan bey Zardabi were honored in the Alley of Honor
On the occasion of the 148th anniversary of National Press the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Media Development Agency, Azerbaijan Press Council, representatives of media organizations have visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to National Leader, architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state Haydar Aliyev, and to lay a wreath and flowers at his grave. Then they honored the memory of prominent scientist-ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva and laid flowers at her grave.
After that, wreaths and flowers were laid at the grave of Hasan Bey Zardabi, the founder of the Azerbaijani national press, publisher and editor of the newspaper "Akinchi", one of the founders of the national ideology of Azerbaijan, and the memory of the great thinker was honored.
