By the decision of the Council, the broadcasting of "Kanal S" television channel suspended for 3 hours

On July 04, 2023 a meeting of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held in online format. The meeting discussed the violation of the requirements of the law on advertising on "Kanal S" TV channel. Thus, the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Advertising" was violated by broadcasting of 13 minutes (in one hour) of advertisement on June 25, 2023 from 17.00 to 18.00 on "Kanal S" television channel of regional terrestrial television broadcaster and platform broadcaster performing satellite broadcasting "Kanal S" LLC.

The Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, guided by the Articles 39.1.4, 41.1.1 and 41.5 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Media", adopted a decision to suspend the broadcasting of programs of "Kanal S" television channel on July 5, 2023 from 09.00 till 12.00 (for 3 hours).
