Department of Law and International Cooperation
Main functions of the Department are as follows:
- Providing legal support, drafting and reviewing legislative acts, contracts, organizational documents, and ensuring compliance with legislation;
- Representing the Audiovisual Council in legal proceedings, preparing procedural documents, claims, appeals, and protocols on administrative offenses;
- Managing licensing and regulatory activities, including issuance, suspension, cancellation, restoration of licenses, and organizing licensing competitions;
- Preparation of legal opinions and legal assessments in accordance with the areas of activity of the Audiovisual Council;
- Coordinating international and regional cooperation, studying foreign experience, participating in bilateral and multilateral meetings, seminars, and conferences;
- Preparing and translating official documents, speeches, and presentations for international relations and assignments;
- Contributing to strategic planning, preparing reports, and participating in working groups, commissions, and committees;
- Reviewing applications from state bodies, courts, organizations, legal and natural persons, ensuring confidentiality of information;
- Conducting legal expertise, checking compliance of acts, contracts, and inquiries with legislation, and proposing improvements;
- Preparing reports and analytical materials, and contributing to strategic planning and legislative initiatives.
