Turkic Broadcasting Regulatory Authorities Forum (TBRAF)

On October 27-28, 2022, the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized a meeting of audiovisual media regulatory authorities of member and observer countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in the cities of Baku and Shusha.

Within the meeting, the Radio and Television Supreme Council of Türkiye (RTÜK) submitted a Concept Document to establish a Forum of Audiovisual Media Regulators of Member and Observer Countries of the OTS - Turkic Broadcasting Regulatory Authorities Forum (TBRAF).

At the end of the meeting held in Shusha, a Declaration of Will was signed to establish a Forum and provide information to the 5th Meeting of Ministers and High-Level Officials of Media and Information of the OTS Member and Observer Countries.

Discussions are currently underway with the relevant bodies of the OTS member countries through appropriate diplomatic and working channels regarding the draft Charter of the TBRAF, the first founding meeting, and the Joint Declaration.
