The Audiovisual Council has organized seminar for the students of Baku State University

On October 31, 2025 the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized training-seminar for students of the Faculty of Journalism at Baku State University (BSU).

Speaking at the event, Aynur Nasirova, Head of the Department of international journalism and information policy at BSU, expressed confidence that the long-standing cooperation between the Audiovisual Council and BSU will once again deliver tangible benefits for students this year.

Later, Taleh Guliyev, Head of the Division of Communications of the Audiovisual Council, provided the students with detailed information about the Council’s areas of activity, audiovisual media entities, as well as the work carried out by the Council. He also covered the awareness-raising events organized by the Council.

Next, Aykhan Sadigly, chief adviser of the Department of the law and international cooperation of the Audiovisual Council, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the topic "Audiovisual media and its regulation in Azerbaijan". He provided students with detailed information regarding the regulatory mechanisms of audiovisual media, its legal aspects, and the statutory powers of the regulator.

Held in an interactive format, the seminar featured a Q&A session and discussion of real-life cases and examples that addressed students’ interests.
