The Audiovisual Council has organized seminar-training in the Faculty of Journalism at Baku State University
On November 28, 2025 the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan conducted an awareness-raising seminar-training for students of the Faculty of Journalism at Baku State University (BSU), organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Media Development Agency and Baku State University.
Opening the seminar, Samir Khalidoglu, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Journalism of BSU, highlighted the high effectiveness and positive results of Audiovisual Council's regular training sessions for students.
Later, Taleh Guliyev, Head of the Division of Communications of the Audiovisual Council, provided students with detailed information on the Council’s key areas of work, focusing particularly on the measures implemented to protect children's rights, including awareness-raising activities carried out for audiovisual media entities in this area.
Next, Aykhan Sadigly, chief adviser of the Department of the law and international cooperation of the Audiovisual Council, gave a comprehensive presentation on "Children’s Rights in Audiovisual Media", informing students about the relevant legislation, regulatory tools, as well as the Council’s legally mandated powers and responsibilities in this field.
Held in an interactive format, the seminar featured a Q&A session and discussion of real-life cases and examples that addressed students’ interests.
