The Audiovisual Council has released genre statistics of the programs broadcast by nationwide terrestrial television channels in the second quarter of 2025
The Department of Monitoring and Analysis of Audiovisual Programs of the Audiovisual Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan has compiled statistics on the genre of programs broadcast by nationwide terrestrial television channels in the second quarter (April, May and June) of 2025. According to the statistics, the genre of programs on free-to-air nationwide terrestrial television channels during this period stands as follows:
- 24,5% – Information and analytic programs
- 16,4% – Music and entertainment programs
- 15,8% – Sports programs
- 12,0% – Feature films & TV series
- 11,8% – Advertising content
- 8,3% – Cultural and educational programs
- 3,6% – Announcements and notices
- 3,3% – Social programs
- 2,3% – Documentaries
- 1,1% – Social spots
- 0,9% – Children's programs & animated films
